My kitchen builder ‘stopped by quickly’ for some last minute measurements and ended up staying 1.5 hours, leaving me in a mad scramble to get dinner cooked as fast as possible before the hungry monster inside me reared its ugly head.
I boiled some water in a kettle, then added it to a pot with Pedon’s Bulgur and Quinoa mix. While that cooked (10 minutes), I added salmon to a fry pan with my three favourite fish seasonings: Olive oil, garlic, and fresh lime juice. At the same time, I boiled another kettle of water and added it to another pot with chopped kale and broccoli. I let that boil for 4 minutes before draining, adding back to the pot, and adding a small amount of olive oil spread and salt. When the bulgur/quinoa was done, I added a small handful of pine nuts and a pinch of salt. Done. 15 minutes. Delicious.Pin It
