My personal trainer step-son gave me this recipe and it’s fantastic! It’s really easy to make, and doesn’t have many ingredients. You just chuck all the ingredients in a bowl, mix it up, and bake for 35-40 minutes. You can also add things like peanut butter, raisins, seeds, or anything you like. And you can change the flavour by using different flavoured protein powder. I love it!

Flourless Banana Chocolate Protein Bread

Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1 cup chocolate protein powder (or flavour of your choice)
- 1/4 cup stevia
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- A few dashes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs (optional)
- Chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F / 200C
- Mash the bananas, then mix with all other ingredients.
- Spray a bread loaf pan with the baking oil of your choice, then coat evenly with about a tablespoon of protein powder to prevent the bread from sticking.
- Bake for about 35 minutes.
Notes
- Bake times may vary depending on your oven, your elevation, and the size of your pan. Check it frequently after half hour by inserting a knife or skewer into the centre. When the knife comes out clean, it's finished.
