Dr. Axe published this recipe recently, and I gave it a go because it sounded delicious (and perhaps too good to be true). I was amazed at how delicious and MOIST (sorry to all you who hate the word) they were! You’d never know they were made with sweet potato, avocade and apple sauce if you weren’t told. There’s no refined sugar or oil in this recipe, which is always a great thing in my eyes. Visit the website for the recipe and also a how-to video.
Note: I didn’t make the frosting because I can’t eat nut butter. I served mine with some coconut frozen yoghurt, which was the perfect complement!
